A Full Description of This Amazing Stove!
The New GAP 2020 Gravity Feed Non-Electric Pellet Stove built by Independent Stove LLC. Designed and built by Gary Wisener and Gene Bradley, also known as Smokey, owner of Smokey’s Stoves LLC located in Grants Pass and Medford Oregon. Gary the inventor of the first gravity feed non-electric pellet stove to meet EPA Certified Standards, teamed up with Smokey to bring this amazing new stove to market. Smokey’s the exclusive distributor of The GAP 2020 Non-Electric Pellet Stove unique in so many ways from it’s looks to how it operates it will amaze everyone, in fact, nothing on the market compares to the innovative features this stove offers, including large robust stay clean fire view and cooking abilities to start with. During EPA & Safety testing at Omni Labs in Portland we were informed the GAP 2020 was the first stove in more than five years to pass Canada’s stringent Mobile Home requirements, that require stoves operate safely in a negative pressure environment this stove easily passed the stringent Carbon Monoxide test few others have been able to pass. Our innovated stove and firebox design easily allowed us to meet those requirement’s. The GAP 2020 with new innovated fuel control instead of an air control that this stove utilizes, is just one of the stoves patented new ideas incorporated into this stove, that have people amazed. Along with large fire view and easy multiple way to light and operate features, makes this stove a easy winner in any contest. This stove has an operating heat output, with a low of 300 degrees to High north of 1000 degrees, making the GAP 2020 a serious contender for anyone needing some serious heat. But controllable down to a small room, steady and rock solid where ever you need to operate at. The GAP2020 was safety tested to 7 different installation applications. One feature that makes it stand out is, its the only non-electric gravity feed pellet stove capable of venting through any fireplace, it’s also approved to vent through a O-Clearance fireplace as well as a Masonry fireplace. An additional leg kit and insulation kit is requited for the O-Clearance application but a simple 4″ liner is all that’s needed to vent the stove. Because it was required to be tested to UL-1482 a wood stove test, it requires the stove to have a min 16″ hearth in front of the door in the USA and 18″ clearance required in Canada. The GAP 2020 a stove with so much to offer. Dimensions of the stove are 12″ deep 32″ wide and 20″ tall to cook surface and 38″ to top of hopper with the hearth model, and 48″ tall to top of hopper on the freestanding model with its 10″ pedestal, stove has an 88 lb. hopper, the stove’s ability on its lowest setting burns just under a pound an hour and could run a few days on a load, on high almost 5lbs an hour which will vary with height of flue and draft conditions. Now for those that have no fireplace to utilize, by adding a 10 ” pedestal and rear heat shield, utilizing the reversible flue to its vertical position and you can place it almost anywhere in your home you choose, (bedrooms are not allowed). The GAP2020 was safety tested for a flat wall, a parallel wall, whether left or right, a diagonal corner and an alcove installation, so you see the GAP 2020 will work everywhere. Unlike other pellet stoves you can even cook on this stove, There is a side shelf available where a 4 gallon water container sets to deliver its user with hot water, there’s a drying rack available that fits in the pedestal and a oven is also in the works. Made in the USA says a lot, taking orders now through Smokey’s Stoves and am blown away with the response we have received so far. Looking forward to exceeding your expectations!
